Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival 

Admission is $10 per person for the weekend. (Attendees must retain their entry bracelet to gain free access on Sunday.) Children 12 and under are free. The Lewes Historical Society invites you to the Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, June 3rd and 4th, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Greek Festival

Enjoy a week of Greek food, music, dancing, and culture at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Indulge yourself with ethnic delights like Pastichio, Moussaka, Dolmades, Spanakopita, Gyros, Souvlaki, and Calamari while you watch the Greek Terpsechorian Youth Folk dance group perform or listen to the soothing sounds of Philadelphia's Atlantis, a regionally renowned orchestra, every evening.

Separation Day

Separation Day is the annual celebration of Delaware’s independence from Pennsylvania and the British Crown. 2023 marks the 247th anniversary of arguably one of the longest running traditions in the state. The community event is held annually in Historic New Castle. Friday night festivities includes music, food and drink in the center of town. Saturday kicks off with a Colonial-inspired parade. The middle of the day is filled with children’s rides, a vintage market, live music, beer garden and foods prepared by community groups. The day culminates with fireworks over the Delaware River.

West Street Art Festival

Join us for our third annual celebration of art! This day of creative fun features indoor and outdoor art-based activities, performances, vendors, food trucks, and refreshments. Festival highlights include fun and resourceful giveaways, creative activities through local partnerships, and artful commissions for local and emerging artists. Not only does West Street shine a light on the museum’s continued efforts to support local and emerging artists, but this festival provides a platform for artists and community-driven organizations to extend outreach and awareness.
